I’m a huge fan of ABC’s hit drama, Grey’s Anatomy, so when its biggest star and its executive producer/creator share a birthday, I have to give them a big birthday shout-out!

The first needs no introduction. Patrick Dempsey — aka Dr. McDreamy — turns 44 today and, in my humble opinion, he’s never looked better!

We’ve also had the joy of watching him light up the silver screen in romantic comedies such as Sweet Home Alabama, Enchanted and Made of Honor.

Also celebrating a birthday today is creator, executive producer and head writer for the show, Shonda Rhimes.

It’s no doubt this Golden Globe winner has created a huge hit, averaging over 15 million viewers per episode this season!
