Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan is celebrating a birthday today! Happy birthday, Sarah!

Sarah is an incredibly accomplished artist. In fact, for the last 20 years, every one of her albums and videos has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America!

But Sarah isn’t just a performer, she’s also an advocate for female vocalists around the world. A little over a decade ago, Sarah launched the all-female music festival Lilith Fair which became the top-grossing female music festival of all time! The concert ran from 1997 through 1999 and raised over $10 million for charity. After taking a few years off, it appears Lilith Fair has resurrected and will begin touring again this summer!
